Directions: You and your group will create a poster of space with 12 space components. You will be in a group of 3-4. Your group will divide up the 12 components. Your group will receive 12 pieces of copy paper. You will measure two 1 inch strips on the bottom of your paper. You will cut off the two strips. One strip of paper will be for the name and definition of your component and the other is for an Example(NAME) and fact. You will DRAW and COLOR your component after you cut the two strips off of your paper. Make sure you draw your component as big as your paper. DO NOT DRAW YOUR COMPONENT SMALL. You will glue your component and the two strips of paper onto the butcher paper. Write ALL of your names, first and last, on the bottom right corner of the butcher paper. The 12 components are: 1. Star 2. Planet 3. Moon 4. Asteroid 5. Comet 6. Nebula 7. Irregular Galaxy 8. Elliptical Galaxy 9. Spiral Galaxy 10. Pulsar 11. Black Hole 12. Dwarf Planet ABSENT: You will take a sheet of paper. You will draw all 12 components on your paper and you will write the name, definition, example and fact underneath your drawing.
